I started my career as a teacher in Peace Wapiti School Division where I was an elementary/junior high teacher at Rycroft School in Rycroft, Alberta.  I then had the privilege of teaching multiple grades and subject levels at Swan Hills School in Swan Hills, Alberta.  After three great and challenging years I accepted a position at Fort Assiniboine School in Fort Assiniboine, Alberta where I was the High School Math and Science teacher.  I have a passion for technology and how it can assist with engaging students and facilitate learning.  After one year at the Fort School I then became the Learning Technologies Coordinator for my School Division and I work with staff at all schools. I have a wonderful supportive family which includes a husband and two children. As well as mom who has made public education her passion for the last 40 years.
