My Digital Footprint

Twitter - Twitter is the ultimate education connection.  Anytime and just in time professional development, resources, reflections and sharing with colleagues from around the world.  I maintain a personal twitter account, @AUD411, as well as Twitter accounts for Alberta Technology Leaders in Education, @atle10, and Distributed Learning Online Resources, @drlb_preview.

Bookmarks – Our school websites provide the easiest method to share what is coming across my desk that I feel others could use. At present I use our school website provider to post this information for staff to access on my resource page as well as this link is made available on all school websites.  All the material I find is also posted in our divisions teacher resource file housed in docushare.

Facebook – I have a personal account on facebook. I am currently looking at what is the best way to implement the use of this resource into the classroom/division.

Presentations - My presentations are usually created in SMART Notebook as that is what educators in Alberta are primarily using in the classroom.  I post everything on my teacher resource page as well as include them in my monthly technology newsletters that I send out to the division.  I also store material in our division’s google docs account and have the links shared to all staff who have an account.  PHRD Google Docs Domain
